Spindle Flip Top Convertible Table

An impressive feat of hand-engineering, Spindle is one of Jonathan Charles’ most versatile occasional pieces. Capable of functioning as a table or console, the 53” by 16” top houses two additional panels that flip out to double Spindle’s surface area to 32”. Two pull-out drawers with brass hardware and a lower shelf provide storage while whimsical, hand-turned spindle legs on each end add a touch of traditional styling and refinement. Enhancing Spindle’s versatility, the lower shelf and upper leg sections can be removed for use as a coffee table in narrow spaces. A thirsty stripped brown chestnut finish brings out the natural characteristics of solid oak and incorporates an organic sentiment to this sophisticated piece.
