Sheraton Style Oval Back Chair Fabric Seat (Arm)

Sheraton style walnut dining arm chair with an open oval back, the splat with decorative gilded neoclassical carvings and a fleur-de-lys type ornaments. Shaped fabric upholstered seat, and further shallow carved gilded floral designs to the serpentine rail and cabriole legs terminating in a gilded ball foot. After an original of c.1795.
